Big plans for Scotland

This should be useful

John's turned 40 this year, so obviously we're going to celebrate that by spending a week in Scotland, looking to do as much climbing as possible, guided by weather, midge and fitness.

Rock Climbing in Scotland will be our guide, but which of the Classics make a sensible aim. We're under no illusions that the Scottish climbs will take many visits and we look forward our trips up there, but what itinerary makes sense?

Do the Cobbler on the way up or on the way back?

Camp in the bowl of the North Face of Ben Nevis and look at Long Climb and Tower Ridge over a couple of days?

Road trip around many areas and the easier walk-ins of Glencoe?

Or an adventure to Arran?

Oh man, I've just remembered the Clachaig Gully!!
